Chanukah 2010 Schedule of events and Activities at the Bible Lands Museum:
Tours with costumed actors -- Judah the Maccabee and the Lost Ark: A magical box with horrible daemons inside it has disappeared. Who stole it? Was it Pharaoh, Haman or Antiochus? Judah the Maccabee and the children will leave on a magical adventure between ancient statues, coffins and mosaics and together solve the mystery.
*Tours for children depart every half hour from 10:30 - 14:00. Admission is free. All tours will take place in Hebrew.
A special performance for the whole family -- The Train Theater presents "Cubes Circus"
How many cubes does the princess wear?
Is the clown's nose round or square?
And how would you train a cube dog?
In the cubes circus anything can happen! A couple of clown dancers set in motion a wondrous world of cubes. The cubes will be spread out, shrinked and divided into different and bizarre animals. The actors wear cubes, dance with them, train and cast spells on them.
An innovative performance combining puppetry, plastic art and Dance Theater.
Performances will take place on Sunday - Thursday at 12:00
