The Jerusalem Municipality invites one and all to the huge Municipality Sukkah in Safra Square.
Every night will feature a musical performance by a-list performers such as Moshe Lahav, Los Capros, Shiri Maimon, Kochav Nolad Stars, and more.
Other attractions include a meet and greet with Mayor Nir Barkat and his wife, sing alongs, musical performances, and children's workshops.
Come to participate in the events or just hang out and have a bite. This year, the Sukkah will be dedicated to the theme of Aliyah from the diaspora.
Admission to the Sukkah and all events is free.
Schedule of events in the Sukkah:
September 23, 2010 - Opening Night
19:00: The Sukkah opens to visitors, with Adi's musical box. The musical box combines several instruments: violins, drums, castanets and more, lending the Sukkah an enchanted atmosphere.
21:00: Live performance by Oyf Simchas in a transparent lit up ball

September 25, 2010 - Israeli Night.
19:00: The Sukkah opens to visitors with activities and Adi's musical box

September 26, 2010 - Dedicated to the Ethiopian community - 25 years to Mivtza Moshe, produced by the Jewish Agency with support from the Absorption Ministry and the Ariel Company.
17:00: Arts and food fair with crafts and food made by Ethiopian artists, including photographers, sculptors, painters, hair braiders, a traditional coffee ceremony, a traditional wedding ceremony, and more.
20:00: Live performance by Manhim Maharta and Baruch and Yigal Ravid with musical artists Shiri Maimon, Gilad Segev, Ayala Ingedsat, Mazal Fikdo (Kochav Nolad) and Shimon Tepeta (Kochav Nolad). The program will include duets by Israeli and Ethiopian musicians. The head of the Jewish Agency, the Minister of Absorption, and the Mayor will be in attendance.

September 27, 2010 - The Mayor greets seniors and Moroccan night.
14:00: Artistic Program for seniors - live performance by Ilanit. Seating available.
15:30: Festive ceremony with Mayor Nir Barkat
17:00-19:00: Meet and greet with Mayor and Mrs. Nir Barkat
18:00: Open house and activities for children and families sponsored by Ein Yael and Adi's musical box. Creative workshop "From Garbage to Musical Notes": children will make musical instruments from recycled materials.
20:30: Live performance by Chaim Uliel

September 28, 2010: Jerusalem Holiday Pilgrimage
18:00: Immigrant art: exhibit of artwork by immigrant children. Also, arts and crafts activities for children and families and Adi's musical box.
19:30: Live performance by "The Klezmerim" and "Apple in Honey": Balkan International Music.
20:30: Live performance by Los Capros
Throughout the week, art made by new immigrants will be displayed in the Sukkah.
