The Bloomfield Science Museum presents special events and activities for students on May 8, 2013 in honor of Student Day and Jerusalem Day.
Thought provoking activities, demonstrations and special tours for students, mechanism tours, and guided tours of the CAPTCHA exhibit that examines central questions at the basis of computer science: what are the limits of a computer's abilities and what can't computers do? Will computers surpass us in their wisdom, and will they ever reach a level of self-awareness? Can a computer be creative? And what does all this tell us about ourselves and our thought process?
In addition, there will be an open house for students who are interested in the possibility of becoming guides at the museum. For more information click here.
