Just Before Nightfall: Thursday Evenings in August 2012 at the Tower of David Museum
The Tower of David Museum presents "Just Before Nightfall" in August 2012: a visit to the Tower of David Museum combined with a musical performance under the stars, amongst archaeological remnants and a cultured garden, in the magical evening atmosphere.
Thursdays in August 2012 from 18:00-19:30
The museum will extend its opening hours on Thursdays in July and stay open from 10:00-19:30. In the main plaza, near the coffee shop, ensembles will play world music.
Schedule of performances for August 2012:
August 2: Yizhar Florsheim together with Reuben Oppenheim fill the Citadel's walls with an array of acoustic music blending a wealth of styles, instruments and musical tastes both international and Israeli in a show called "Around the World".
Yizhar Florsheim: vocals, recorders, clarinet, saxophone, harmonica, acoustic guitar, bouzouki.
Reuben Oppenheim: acoustic guitar, vocals.

August 9: The Ira Klein Quintet: Ira Klein with Roi Ben Yosef (drums), Gal Shaya (bass), Milton Michaeli (piano), Arik Levi (Saxophones)
August 16: Trio Mikan

All events are included in museum entrance fee (15-30 NIS).
Events take place in cooperation with the Jerusalem Development Authority's "Old City Nights" program.
