Neustein - Drawing in the Margins
May 18 - October 27, 2012
This retrospective of the work of Joshua Neustein explores the artist's role in the development of drawing in Israel and internationally over the past fifty years. A Guggenheim fellow, Neustein's pioneering and experimental works have helped to redefine the medium, through his use of torn paper, folded airplanes, traditional drawing, and drawing installations, in such varied media as steel wool, carbon paper, and video. The exhibition features approximately seventy works and is curated by Meira Perry-Lehmann, Michael Bromberg Senior Curator of Prints and Drawings.
Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 10:00 to 17:00; Tuesday 16:00 to 21:00; Friday 10:00 to 14:00
