Bloomfield Science Museum in Jerusalem invites children and their parents on Yom Ha'atzmaut to learn about science in simple and exciting ways, through activities, tours and scientific workshops. Activities are suitable for children from age 4 and up.
The wonder of chemistry: Scientific demonstrations for the whole family
-Create juice drinks in all the colors of the rainbow

Magic Potion: An active workshop for children.
Concoct a magic potion that changes the color of lemon, vinegar, soap and other materials
Magical Colored Ball: Building Workshop
Each child makes a colorful magic ball and takes it home as a souvenir.
Experience and learning:
-Write and interpret secret codes
-Grow a Crystal Garden
-Create artificial snow
Where's the chemistry? Guided tours of museum exhibitions.
At the electricity exhibit, make electricity with your own hands and see how different gases change the color of light. At the media exhibit, discover how the silicon and glass in electronic devices enable the transmission of data across the world.
Dr. Molecule: The characteristics of water.
Humorous interactive science theatre with Dr. Molecule about the characteristics of water. Dr. Molecule lights a fire underwater, tries to burn a balloon filled with water, creates a "water bomb", and many other surprising phenomena.
*The Dr. Molecule show costs an extra 15 shekels.*
