This exhibition presents original illustrations, photographs, and objects related to The Wall, an illustrated book by Czech artist Peter Sis. This autobiographical book deals with Sis's childhood and young adulthood behind the Iron Curtain in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. The book was published in the United States, where Sis has lived since 1984, and has won many prizes, including a designation as a Caldecott Honor Book. This exhibition is held in collaboration with the Czech Center Tel Aviv.
