The Israel Museum presents "New in Photography: Recent Acquisitions."
A selection of photographs acquired by or gifted to the Department over the past three years, including daguerreotypes of the Middle East from 1841-44, now on display in Israel for the very first time. The exhibition also features works from the collection of Arnold Newman, bequeathed to the Museum by the renowed photographer, as well as photographs by contemporary Chinese, Japanese, French, Swiss, and Israeli artists - the most recent of which, taken in 2010, document the Israel Museum's renewal project.
