The Morel Derfler Gallery of the Musrara School presents "Jenny Arena in Black and White": an exhibition in memory of Morel Derfler. Opening: October 31, 2010 at 20:00. Gallery talk: November 3, 2010 at 16:30.
Morel Derfler was an artist and a senior staff member at the Musrara School that was killed in a fatal bombing at the train station in Naharia in September 2001. Some of his last works of photography were later found in his car, which he had parked not far from the train station. Every year, the gallery which was name after him holds an exhibition which presents a dialogue between Derfler's work and that of another artist. This year, the exhibition will display a dialogue between Derfler's works and those of Hana Sahar.
