Brain Works is an exhibition at the Bloomfield Science Museum which explores the question that is an ongoing topic of research for so many scientists in Israel and around the world: How does the brain work? The brain is an exceedingly complex organ and as such scientists have only revealed the tip of the iceberg when it comes to understanding how it works, yet even this little bit of knowledge is fascinating. The exhibition demonstrates the methods used in brain research, and presents samples of six projects in brain research, most of which took place in Israel. Each project is presented as a scene in a laboratory with real lab equipment, in order to allow visitors to duplicate the scientist's research methods as closely as is possible.
