Tales of Jerusalem - a good reason to laugh in the Citadel!
Wind down towards Shabbat with funny stories of Jerusalem in an intimate setting in the Citadel's courtyard
There are things that only Jerusalemites say ... and there are things that only said about Jerusalem ... there are tiny little alleyways only found in this city ... and yet sometimes the whole city seems to be encapsulated in one little alley ... stories of typical Jerusalemites ... and surprising stories of colorful characters found in the city....
Different stories with different voices will be told as the stage is shared between Jerusalemite Yossi Alfi, a poet and story teller, the writer, Eli Amir who is a resident of Jerusalem's neighborhood Gilo together with comedian and actress, Rina Pudah, the wonderful actor Shlomo Bar-Shavit and Yehuda Atzba who will all share their vibrant and funny stories about the city that is so important to millions world-wide.
Woven into the afternoon program, there will also be songs and Jerusalem psalms performed by composer and singer Shuli Natan. In addition, Janet Rothstein-Yahudian will give voice in a performance of classical Persian poetry.
