A mishmash of Hebrew words that indicates loads of cultural offerings at
little or no cost taking place on three weekends in Jerusalem,
"Hamshushalaim" kicks off its sixth season in December 2010: December
2-4, 9-11, and 16-18, 2010.
This years events offer something for everyone, including hundreds of events at cultural venues and tourist destinations all over Jerusalem, dozens of outdoor and
indoor shows, performances, street theatre, attractions, and special
deals at restaurants and hotels.
Hamshushalayim 2010 at the Bloomfield Science Museum:
*Free entrance to the Museum on December 2, 9, and 16 from 21:00-1:00
*Guided night time tours of "The Deep" and the water exhibits: Water in Jerusalem, Water Sources, and Researching Water, on December 2 and 9, 2010. The Deep tours at 21:30, 23:00, 24:00 and 01:00. Water exhibit tours at 22:30, 23:30, 24:30 and 01:30.
*"Light in the Deep" special late night performances on December 2 and 9, 2010 at 22:00. 20 NIS entrance.
*Tour of the "My Ideal City" project.
*Guided tours and demonstrations in the museum's other exhibits at 21:30, 23:00, 24:00 and 01:00.
Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 18:00; Friday 10:00 to 14:00; Saturday 10:00 to 15:00; Sundays closed
