The Jerusalem Arts Festival: World Wide Folk Songs

The Jerusalem Arts Festival bringstogether local and out-of-town performing groups for a week-longcelebration of the arts in Jerusalem. This year’s festival comprisessome 30 performances – dance, theatre and music – taking place intheatres and halls throughout the city.

Description: Artistic songs from Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, the British Isles and Israel – laughter and tears, joy and sadness, memories and heart rending longing – in a fascinating performance by a vocal ensemble and with delightful arrangements which bring tears to the eye.
