Nahara Dance Group Hosts Musician Sharon Rother

Nahara Dance Group hosts musician Sharon Rother for an afternoon performance of Jewish dance and music.

Friday, June 14, 2013 at 13:30 at the Gerard Bechar Center

In the first half of the show, the group will perform two segments from their repertoire – Hot me a feder, choreographed by Tami Yitzhaki, and Transcending Lights, by Dorleans Jost. In the second half of the show Sharon Rother will take the stage singing a wide variety of original songs, accompanied by one of the dancers from the group.

Nahara is a dance group whose members lead a Jewish religious lifestyle and strive to bring a professional top quality level of dance to the stage, in order to connect the religious community to professional dance without compromising either art or religion, and, in addition, to bring a new aspect of dance to the public at large.
