Beit Lessin Theatre presents Anda, a bold drama that pours salt over open wounds in Israeli society. Background: Israel, 1961, on the eve of the Eichmann Trial. Nochi, a brilliant, young attorney on the prosecution is thrown into an unforeseen struggle: Anda, a nurse that survived Auschwitz, and wants to testify at the trial, is disqualified by Ben Gurion’s political establishment. Nochi, with his career and romance on the line, is torn between sticking to his principles and surrendering to political norms.
