The flutist and composer Itai Kriss lives and works in New York and is considered one of the leading flutists of the Big Apple, both in the field of jazz and in the field of Afro-Cuban music. His adaptations of Nurit Hirsh, winner of the ACUM life achievement award for composition, bring a delightful Jazzy-Latin twist with a Mediterranean Israeli connotation.
