The Tower of David presents a Selichot Tour combined with The Night Spectacular (in Hebrew).
Enter the special atmosphere in the Old City in the Jewish calendar month of Elul. The ancient Jewish custom of asking forgiveness before the High Holidays is done through special prayers late at night. The tour begin with a showing of The Night Spectacular and continues with an experiential walk through the Old City to learn about the customs and stories of this unique time. Tours conclude at the Western Wall.
The tour is in Hebrew and does not include synagogue visits. Please dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes.
The Selichot tours start at 9 pm on the 7th, 8th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 26th, 28th and 29th of August.
