For the past 20 years, Vanya has been faithfully and humbly managing the family estate of the daughter of his late sister, Sonya.
But when his sister's former husband steps into the picture, an arrogant professor who wants to sell the estate, with his beautiful wife in tow, who makes everybody fall in love with her, everyone's serene existence goes off course.
Chekhov, one of the greatest playwrights of all time, takes the play's characters and the audience on a tempestuous journey, brimming with fear, love, and passion, in a theatrical production that abounds in humor and desire.
