The opening event of the Yom Hazikaron ceremonies will be held at Binyanei Hauma. Hundreds of bereaved families, thousands of families, together with performance artists and guests from all corners of the nation will participate. Performers include Shlomi Shabbat, David Daor, Yehoram Gaon, Baladi Bleiberg, Yishai Lapidot, Aharon Razel, Udi Davidi, and the IDF orchestra. This year the evening will be dedicated to the stories of bereaved immigrant families, in addition to families that have lost more than one family member, including the Ramon family, the Peretz family.
