The 2012 Jerusalem Light Festival in the Old City

This year’s festival will emphasize the connection between light and sound in two unique shows (there is an entrance fee for the shows).

1. “Streams”: A rhythm packed performance by the Mayumana group2. A magnificent and entertaining performance by the Israeli pyromania group

Dozens of light breathtaking light sculptures, interactive video art and music displays will be set up alongside street performances, pyrotechnics, film screenings, and music and dance performances.

Leading international artists from France, Portugal, Italy, Estonia and Great Britian are to participate in the festival as well as Israeli artists.
