Beit Avi Chai presents "Destruction and redemption in the works of S. Y. Agnon": A lecture series.
Readings and discussions of Agnon's works that address patterns of human coping in times of crisis and difficulty. In the sessions we will analyze the tension between the crisis and its repair, between destruction and rebuilding, and between exile and redemption, which is a key motif in Agnon's works.
