Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to celebrate Sukkot in Jerusalem, and the municipality is ready with a great lineup of special events in store. Sukkot events around the city:


Safra Square tours: guided tours of Safra Square and environs. Tours take place on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, October 16-18 at 11:00 and 13:00. Meeting point is at the Safra Sukkah. The tours are free.


Flea Market in the German Colony: On the intermediate days of Sukkot featuring art, clothing, Judaica, kids items, jewelry, accessories, organic food and more.


Bezalel Arts Fair: Fridays and on the intermediate weekdays of Sukkot from 10:00-16:00. The fair takes place on Bezalel and Shatz streets, as well as the park near the Mashbir. There are guided tours that leave from the arts fair on Fridays at 12:00. For more information about the arts fair visit www.bezalelfair.co.il.


Community Arts Fair: Sunday October 16 from 16:00-23:00: A non profit fair at Alrov Mamilla Avenue. Gifts, baked goods and other items prepared by people with special needs will be for sale.


Simchat Beit Hashoeva: October 13-18 from 20:00-23:00 - Sukkot celebrations in various locations around the city, with performances and live music.


Priestly Blessings at the Western Wall: Sunday, October 16 from 9:00-10:00.


Study evenings for Hoshanah Rabba: in various locations - contact your regional council for more details.


Hakafot Shniot: A second round of Hakafot will take place in various locations around the city on October 20 from 20:00-23:00.
