The Museum of Italian Jewish Art presents "Verdi in Jerusalem": the paintings of the artist Maestro Daniel Schinasi in honour of the great Italian composer, in honor of Verdi's 200th birthday.

In celebration of the 200th anniversary of Giuseppe Verdi's birth the Museum is organizing a series of events in collaboration with the Italian Embassy, the Italian Institute of Culture and the Dante Alighieri Society in Jerusalem


Maestro Daniel Schinasi Celebrates Verdi's 200th Birthday: An exhibition of paintings by the artist Daniel Schinasi in honour of the great Italian composer


A Jewish Landscape for Verdi: Photographic exhibit


Festive Opening of the exhibition will take place on 17.10.13


18:00 Reception and a visit to the Exhibition "Maestro Daniel Schinasi Celebrates Verdi's 200th Birthday"


19:00-20:15 "Verdi's Opera from Risorgimento to Social and Class Struggle", Prof. Jehoash Hirshberg
