On the eve of Yom Ha-sho'ah (Holocaust Memorial Day), Jerusalem Theatre will screen Defiance (USA 2008), a drama set during the holocaust, which tells the story of the Bielsky brothers in Nazi-occupied Eastern Europe. The brothers escape into the Belarussian forests, where they join Russian resistance fighters and endeavor to build a village in order to protect themselves and about 1,000 Jewish non-combatants.
