Established in 1963 with the blessing of Prime Minister David Ben Gurion and President Yitzhak Ben Zvi, the Jerusalem House of Quality is a non-profit foundation, museum and gallery dedicated to the promotion of Jerusalem artists and artisans and the fostering of healthy artistic life in the city.

Housed in a historic building looking out over Mount Zion and the Old City's walls, the House of Quality's galleries are home to hundreds of works encompassing a multitude of artistic disciplines and materials, including Judaica, ceramics, painting, jewelry, wood, enamel and glass. Visitors can observe resident artists in the process of creation, and show their support of Jerusalem's artistic community by purchasing unique artwork.

In addition to its purview in the visual arts, the House of Quality also hosts concerts and lectures.
