Located in the picturesque Baka neighborhood, Gilai Collectibles is a unique shop/museum in Jerusalem. On display are 18th and 19th century antiques which were used in homes and businesses in their time.

The range of items is wide: scientific instruments, such as scales and weights, meteorological and medical instruments, antique tools, Jewish coins and a large unique collection of Jerusalem maps.

A fifth-generation Jerusalemite, the founder, Dr. Arieh Gilai, has been collecting since 1956. His cane collection is one of the biggest collections in Israel.

Gilai Collectibles has been included on the itinerary of Yad Ben-Zvi's tours of small museums. Tours can be given and explanations dispensed. Please call ahead to schedule a tour or just stop by for a visit.
