The Tower of David Museum opens its doors to the general public for a unique experience of "Tikkun Leil Shavuot" outside in the courtyard of the ancient citadel.
The annual tradition of Tikkun Leil Shavuot continues at the Tower of David Museum when Dr Tzachi Weiss will address the concept of "Tikkun - Repairing the World in Kabbalah and Mr Daniel Segev will speak focus on the passage from slavery to freedom between Passover and Shavuot looking at "repairing the soul and spirit".

Dr. Tzahi Weiss - Lecturer in Jewish mysticism, Talmud and contemporary Hebrew literature, Department of Jewish Thought at the Hebrew University, Department of Literature at Tel Aviv University and the Shalem Institute.
23:30 Lecture: "Repairing the Soul, the Spirit and the Essence: From Slavery to Freedom between Passover and Shavuot"
The idea of the repairing the world according to the Kabbala and Rabbi Yitzhak Luria ("HaAri"), the concept of slavery and freedom in the hidden meanings of the Kabbalah, and the meaning of the process of repairing during the counting of the Omer between Passover and Shavuot.
Daniel Segev - Architect and urban planner by profession, a scholar and teacher of Kabbala and its applications, advisor and therapist of spiritual psychology.
24:30 Tour: "Heavenly Jerusalem"
Tour of the Citadel and the Jewish Quarter in the Old City to the Western Wall, all in the spirit of Shavuot. Tours led by the Tower of David Museum guides.
