The Bloomfield Museum of Science presents the Jerusalem Mini Maker Faire: under the direction of initiator Dr. Yossi Vardi, dozens of presenters, inventors, and builders will display their creative and amusing inventions and hand built creations around the museum. A direct encounter with the presenters, their work, and the technologies they use.

*Amusing machines that do “nothing”: demonstration and meeting with Didi Vardi – autodidact and handy man that builds machines whose sole purpose is to amuse
*The man with the hammer: break stuff and learn how things work inside
*Beer and learn: learn about how beer is made, types and flavors of beer
*Theremin: Ran Nachmias’ performance explaining the Theremin, a unique electronic musical instrument that is played without being touched. The Theremin’s sounds are mysterious and foreign sounding, and are sometimes used in sci-fi and alien movies.
*Ready, Steady, Go: tool race: amusing and surprising. By Didi Vardi.
*Musical pipette workshop: build a pan flute out of pipettes
*Musical pens: make a pen that plays music as you write
*CoffeeBot: program and build a robot on a coffee container
*The mathematic magician: Fernando Balasko the musician from Barcelona demonstrates the connection between math and magic
*Chess club: March 19
*YouMake ReMake: multidisciplinary show – dance, dialogue and a new interpretation of YouTube videos. By Renana Raz. Adult version. Additional fee.
