Passover 2013 at the Bloomfield Science Museum: iMake
The Bloomfield Museum of Science invites you to visit over the Passover break and participate in the iMake creative experience. The events boast entertaining displays made by Israeli “makers,” demonstrations for the whole family, a variety of arts and crafts workshops and a performance by Renana Raz, artist and dancer.
The program includes:
*Machines that do “nothing”: entertaining demonstration
*The man with the hammer: breaking things and seeing what makes things work
*Don’t try this at home: explosive experiments and cool scientific demonstrations
*Ready, set, go: tool race
*Huge doll-building workshop
*Musical pipette workshop: build a pan flute out of pipettes
*Musical pens: make a pen that makes music as you write. For kids 10+
*Show in the auditorium: YouMake ReMake Kids: Debut. Interdisciplinary show including dance, dialogue, and a new interpretation of YouTube videos from the children’s world. By Renana Raz. For ages 4+ (additional entrance fee)
