Photo Exhibit of Naftali Hilger at the Museum of Islamic Art
Through this exhibit, Yemen, a mysterious and distant land, shows visitors art, architecture, ancient landscapes, and culture from thousands of years ago. In this new exhibit, leading photographer Naftali Hilger takes visitors on a spectacular journey across the Yemen through the camera lens. Hilger first visited Yemen in the 1980s and has since returned five more times, photographing the Jewish community and local residents, exposing a way of life that would not otherwise be seen.
