Dr. Doron BarDr. Doron Bar is an historical-Geographer, a graduate of the department of geography in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Dr. Bar wrote and edited several books and articles about the historical-geography of Palestine (Eretz Israel) during Late Antiquity. He is also interested in the creation of holy space and in the phenomenon of pilgrimage in both antiquity and 19th and 20th centuries. His work examines the ways in which pilgrimage and holy space influenced Palestine's geography through history.


Dr. Jackie Feldman is a senior lecturer in anthropology at Ben Gurion University, Beersheba and holds a doctorate in Religious Studies from Hebrew University. He has published scholarly articles on Christian pilgrimage, Second Temple Pilgrimage, and a book on youth voyages to Poland, and has worked as a licensed guide for Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land. His fields of interest are pilgrimage and tourism, anthropology of Christianity, collective memory and ritual.


Dr. Daniel DanaDr. Daniel Dana was born a Shiite Muslim in pre-Shiite-Islamic Revolution Iran. He holds a Phd in International Law and studied Comparative Religion at Hobart Institute of T.A.F.E. Kobi CooperKobi Cooper is a licensed tour guide by the Ministry of Tourism who lives and specializes in Jerusalem. He holds a BA from Northwestern University in Middle Eastern and African Studies and has studied on 4 continents. He counts Jews, Christians, Muslims and atheists amongst his family members and is happy to show people the secrets this city holds, no matter their background. Barnea SelavanRabbi Barnea Levi Selavan is CoDirector of Foundation Stone, exploring and sharing Israel's heritage through archaeological excavations, museums and private collections throughout the world. Foundation Stone develops historical sites like Tel Yavne and Elah Fortress, produces educational and popular media such as the De'Ara Tanach Map, and provides thematic tours and seminars. Barnea authored Tzaddik's Guide to Jerusalem's Old City and gives regular Friday tours; his wife Shoshana runs the Jewish Quarter website www.myrova.com. Asher AltshulBorn in the US, Asher Altshul has been in Israel for almost 20 Years. He has a degree in archaeology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and he is a licensed tour guide.
